At Terrebonne General Health System, we partner with Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center to detect cancer in its earliest stages so that we can begin cancer treatment immediately. For 50 years, Mary Bird Perkins has been providing leading-edge cancer care. In 2008, the Cancer Center formed a partnership with the hospital and Cancer Care Specialists. Each party had one goal in mind: to offer residents of the Bayou Region a comprehensive cancer center, close to home. Our Cancer Center offers many different services and treatments, from cancer screenings to medical oncology such as chemotherapy, radiation oncology, surgery to remove tumors, and much more.
